Srinagar, June 29(KNO): A high-level delegation of Khidmat Centres Association (KCA) led by DDC member Er Aijaz Hussain Wednesday met J&K BJP chief Ravinder Raina and discussed threadbare a series of issues confronting them since 2009 that includes framing of job policy and regularizing them.
As per news agency--Kashmir News Observer (KNO), in a statement issued here, Er Aijaz said that he represented the delegation of KCA that met J&K BJP Chief Raina and demanded immediate resolution of their issues. The KCA was headed by its president Niteshwar Kumar and another senior representative Tariq Ahmed.
Er Aijaz while apprising Raina about the issues being faced by KCA stated that since 2009, scores of people working in various Khidmat Centers have been facing multiple challenges as all the previous regimes made hollow promises to them that were never fulfilled. Er Aijaz urged J&K BJP chief to proceed the demand of KCA that includes framing of job policy and regularizing them on priority as promised by all the previous regimes.
Speaking on the occasion, KCA president Nitewshar Kumar said that they are living a tough life since 2009 but haven’t stopped serving the people across J&K. Kumar demanded immediate redressal of their demands especially regularization of all the employees working at Khidmat Centers. He told J&KB BJP chief Ravinder Raina that even promises made by MoS PMO Dr Jitendera Singh were not fulfilled and that they are suffering badly on all fronts while their families are on the verge of starvation due to the “callous approach of successive regimes” while as present administration was also not paying heed to their demands which has further added to their problems.
Assuring the delegation all possible support, J&K BJP chief said that Khidmat Centers were doing a commendable job in resolving the issues of people and that he will take up the issue with the concerned quarter and also with the J&K LG Manoj Sinha so that immediate redressal is sought.
